Okay...maybe not a lot. But he doesn't have the worst taste in games ever by having four good games. Distillers and AFI on the TH4 soundtrack? AFI was on THPS3, and almost the entire THPS1 was punk or something like punk, it even had super random stuff that definitely not go to a mainstream audience, like Dead Kennedys - Police Truck. THPS1 also had Suicide Machines and Goldfinger, and it had Primus too. It was only until THPS2 did they go more into altnernative rap and rock, likely because though it was still music that the creators liked, it was also music that the gamers would like more since they can relate to it b/c it's more mainstream. While still having more mainstream material, there was still punk, such as Swingin' Utters, Bad Religion, and Millencolin. And Lagwagon if you consider them "punk". But then it's always a mix of new and very obscure stuff, and I've learned of some of my favorite bands and songs from playing TH, sadly enough. Goldfinger, Suicide Machines, Del, Styles of Beyond, Public Enemy w/ Anthrax, and all that crazy shit. Don't know about TH4, if they still do have stuff to improve on, then so be it, but if it's just rehash and a cash-in then screw that game. I thought all the new releases of THPS so far have been well done though, like they added new crap each time that make it a lot more interesting. But I still sucked and I never ended up buying it anyway.

Remakes aren't only good when nintendo does them; remakes are good when reputable first-party teams do them. These two games are good examples. Contra is worked on in-house by Konami and Sega's got Shinobi. Can't argue with Konami and Sega.

[ edit ] - I remembered, Ramones, Rollins Band, and the awesome song "Amoeba" by Adolescents were on THPS3 too.
