Hezo Kittie

The stars are shining out tonight
Flickering in the air
A wanderer glances to the sky
Is there something there?

The mesmerizing shimmer
A delusion of another place
Stopping dead in his tracks
Now staring into space.

How can this vast universe
Be so self-contained?
Leading a claustrophobic life
And only he remained.

Madly tearing at the sky!
Losing sense of depth…
Falling to his knees he cried,
“Am I the last one left?!”

I posted my old poem because I think it means that I wish we could live a life beyond human nature. I think human nature holds us back from being truly good people. And equal, and without hate, and a lot of other stuff.
